Art Direction
I had the privilege of working as the art director for the cover of Tableware Today magazine August / September 2022 Issue. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Dublin Glassware creating a sophisticated visual narrative that highlights the intricate craftsmanship of these timeless pieces. In this project, my responsibilities extended beyond art direction; I collaborated closely with the photographer, hands-on styling, and precise food propping ensuring cohesive visual elements throughout the photoshoot.

Inside, four additional cover pages feature beautifully styled crystal glasses, each meticulously arranged to reflect the brand’s legacy and artistry. My vision was to evoke a sense of luxury and heritage, ensuring that our magazine not only honors Dublin Glassware’s rich history but also captivates our readers with a celebration of craftsmanship and design.

Cover
The goal was to capture the essence of luxury and craftsmanship that high-end and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Dublin-cut.

The bottles were arranged symmetrically with a high-contrast, white background (originally black) to make the glass stand out while showcasing the beautiful refractions and reflections of light through the crystal, emphasizing the sharpness and brilliance of the crystal in a yet impactful approach. Drawing by this way attention to the intricate craftsmanship of the famous Dublin pattern. The decision to shoot the decanters with a reflective surface added a level of sophistication, reinforcing the premium quality of the products.
This design choice not only highlights the precise cuts but also adds a dynamic layer to the image, symbolizing the lasting legacy and timeless appeal of the Dublin collection.
Flap Cover
What could be a more elegant way to celebrate than with a champagne tower? Initially, the concept featured five rows of coupe glasses, allowing champagne to flow freely and create a classic, celebratory scene.
However, as the art director, I saw an opportunity to further showcase the range of the Dublin collection by replacing the uniform coupes with five rows of different Dublin glasses. This approach not only maintained the visual impact of the cascading champagne but also highlighted the versatility and craftsmanship of the various Dublin glassware designs.
The image captures the elegance and celebration in a fresh and dynamic way, with each glass type adding its own unique contribution to the overall composition, enhancing the richness of the brand's offering.

Flap Back Cover
For this shot, I envisioned an elegant dessert table with the crystal cake stand as the central piece. Minimal food props were used to keep attention on the stand's beauty, while another cake stand in the background subtly highlighted its multifunctional use.
A soft ray of light was directed onto the top of the gray background, adding depth and creating an additional layer of emphasis on the main attraction. This careful balance of lighting, composition, and simplicity ensured that the craftsmanship of the crystal remained the star of the scene.
2-Page Spread
The final spread transitions to the bar section of the celebration, concluding the event with a refined touch. To maintain consistency, the same background from the dessert table was used, forming a visual flow that subtly draws attention toward the center of the composition.
Initially, the image lacked vibrancy with no props, appearing too muted and colorless. To enhance its appeal, I introduced vibrant liquor bottles and cocktail garnishes, which brought the scene to life, adding color and energy while creating a more visually captivating and dynamic image.
